Swinging West Yorkshire group who have been in action for 25years. They've gone from strength to strength under the leadership of swinging clarinettist Mike Bird. They play 20's - 40's swing and dixieland material in a style that evokes that of the late, great Alex Welsh Band. Particularly worth a mention is the talented trombone playing of the youngest member of the band, Eugene Farrar and drummer Rod McNamara who contributes a few entertainingly eccentric extremes.

They regularly tour in mainland Europe and three times within five years won The Grand Prix du Jazz , at Le Havre-Francein.
