Stereoset is familiar to local jazzers as a duo: singer Lyn Acton and guitarist Tom Harland.

The versatile Lyn is as comfortable with 'The Great American Songbook' as she is with funk and latin material. Other bands she works with are the percussion group The Hull School of Samba; acid jazz big-band Pearls Cab Ride; Thelonious Funk; Back To Base and she starred in the preview of the jazz musical The Love Code.

In 1997 Tom made the northern finals of Young Jazz Musician Of The Year. His well defined fluent jazz playing is the mainstay of Hull based band Tom's Weeds and he has recorded on the celebrated Pork label with dance & breakbeat stars Baby Mammoth.

However for this gig they're a quartet with the addition of drums and double bass.

Expect a swinging performance of the great jazz vocal repertoire. Their last appearance at the GF was a near sell-out. So get in early
