The Hulljazz Rhythm Section includes guest pianist Bob Smeaton and is joined by visiting frontman Martin Boyd on assorted saxes and clarinet. He has a refreshing approach to his repertoire of popular and lesser known standards. Robby is at the drums and double bass is played by Dave Millener.

Together they form the house band which, as always, is there to provide predictable quality for backing and stand-alone entertainment. You get to hear them for a fair bit of the programme.

Want to play? Individual participants, bands and listeners are welcome. All or any of the house band are yours if they're any use to you. So - get practising your party pieces.

We're expecting contributions from most of the usual participants and hopefully a few interesting new ones. (yes, ok, the regulars are interesting too).

Things get going from 8:00pm. Bar stops serving 11:00
