Damon Brown Quartet |
Doug Raney (son of Jimmy Raney) was guitarist with the late Chet Baker. Since the early 1980s this great guitarist has performed with Dexter Gordon, Johnny Griffin, Louis Stewart, Kenny Drew, Clifford Jordan and others. He also toured Japan with Duke Jordan.
Damon has played with many great jazz musicians including Steve Grossman, Benny Golson, Dave Liebman. He ranks among Europe's top players. His clear toned style is rooted in the classic 'Blue-note' tradition but is blended with influences from diverse sources. Just perfect for working with Doug Raney playing material associated with Chet Baker.
And it couldn't get any better - a 'dream-team' rhythm section of Dave Green and Steve Brown.
