Hull’s classiest sitters-in session. The Hulljazz House band fronted by a guest musician presides. Their job is to provide predictable quality for backing and stand-alone entertainment. You get to hear them for a fair bit of the evening. Want to play? Individual participants, bands and listeners are welcome. Embryonic talent or old hands. All or any of the house band are yours if required. So - get practising your party piece. Note! The music will be preceded by a brief presentation by Jazz Yorkshire's Nigel Slee "Celebrating and developing Jazz in Yorkshire and the Humber Region". Topics will include musicians development and funding opportunities. It's hoped that many musicians and promoters will attend but anyone interested is welcome. That's at 7:45pm and the music starts at 8:30pm To persuade the doubtful, admission to the talk and the session will be FREE!
