There's a house band:

The Hulljazz Rhythm Section is joined by guest musicians Gerry Spencer -piano and Graham Galtry -clarinet.
Gerry is now back in Yorkshire after a 15 year sojourn in Cape Town where he operated in the higher echelons of South African jazz. His excellent playing reflects the ruminative exploratory style of Bill Evans. Hullies of a certain age might remember Gerry when he played vibes with the Teddy Barker Band in the 60's. Graham's clarinet playing is tasty and fluent, creatively interpreting the great swing and mainstream standards.
Volunteers welcome - bands or individuals - old hands or aspiring jazzers. Any or all of the house band are yours if you want them. We expect a few regulars including Tom's Weeds which includes excellent guitarist Tom Harland (Baby Mammoth, Stereoset).
And it's ony £2 to get in - a bargain.
Things get going from 8:00pm.
Venue: Goodfellowship Inn. Directions
