John is one of the countries finest jazz drummers. He has performed and recorded with musicians such as Anita Wardel, Clare Teal, Alan Barnes, Andy Shepherd, Pete King, Bobby Wellins, Dave O’Higgins, Kenny Wheeler, Dick Pearce, Steve Waterman, Dave Newton, Julian Joseph, Jim Mullen, Mike Walker, Dave Green and many more. John has recently completed a national tour with American guitar legend Rick Zunigar.
He has taught at the Helsinki Jazz College and run jazz workshops all over England. John has been involved in tuition for children with special needs co-ordinating workshops in the North East.
